why join us?

Whether you’re an occasional wine drinker, keen wine enthusiast or just embarking on your own journey of wine discovery, Yorkshire Sommeliers can introduce you to new (and old) wines from around the world with the confidence of knowing they’ve been picked by wine experts. All that as well as gaining valuable advice and food pairing tips to help you get the most from your wines.

Yorkshire Sommeliers hosts just under 500 members across nine local branches in an area that may well suit you. One of the best reasons to join Yorkshire Sommeliers is to become a part of a community. Just like a great tennis club or a golf club, the friendship and fellowship that you get from being involved in Yorkshire Sommeliers is often just as important as the wine itself.

Due to our varied programme across all branches, you will have access to all events whether that be a tasting event, a winery tour, access to suppliers’ private tastings or even interactive tastings from across the world.

Yorkshire Sommeliers is not just about stocking your cellar – although that’s a useful outcome – we are all about discovering and unfolding the mystery of wine in a simple, friendly and captivating way.
